President's Message

Welcome to Rapid City Midget Football’s website.  The Rapid City Midget Football Association is a not for profit corporation that provides tackle football leagues for young men in 4th through 7th grades in Rapid City, South Dakota.

RCMFA was founded in 1982 by 8 individuals who wanted to start a youth tackle football league.  It was the idea of Jimmy Quinn.  Mr. Quinn is a member of the South Dakota Sports Hall of Fame.

Through the years over 12,000 young men have played football in the RCMFA league.  Our alumni include hundreds of young men who have moved on and played high school football.  Many have also moved on to play college football.  One of our alumni, Adam Vinatieri has participated in multi Super Bowls.

We pride ourselves as being a very well run league with the best equipment available.  We strive to keep the costs low so everyone can participate.  All of our games are held at the Star of the West Sports Complex.  In our league everyone plays.  So if you want to play in a competitive football league come check us out.
